Which Theory of Human Nature is Most Persuasive?

Which of the theories of human nature in the Stevenson book do you find most persuasive and why?  Use specific examples.  You don’t have to commit to just one theory, you can pick and choose from various theories.

This should be a lively threaded discussion. . .

  1. I think Kant’s theory on human nature is the most persuasive because he defines humans by their intellect. This theory is the most persuasive because when we think of the human race we think of beings capable of rational and logical thought. Furthermore, we use our intellect to define how the human race is raised above other levels of life on this earth. Thus, in the traditional sense our intellect is what defines us as being human.
